Elapsed mind - ambient instrumental post-rock band from Moscow.
Elapsed mind is a Moscow band formed in March, 2010. The musicians have never confined their music to any specific genre, although Roman Kuzema, bass player and founder of the band, initially expressed a wish to perform trip-hop. In time the sounding of the group became more like experimental post-rock with some mathematical and ambient elements. Initially the project meant to be purely instrumental: Roman Kuzema as a bassist, Garold Pankratov as a guitarist and Ivan Lepetan' as a drummer. But at the second rehearsal a keyboardist Pavel Tepikin joined the band. Since that the group has acquired its unique fullness of sounding. After half a year of work the musicians recorded their first EP, then there were some new recordings. The vocalist Olga Otrashevskaya took part in one of it. At the beginning of this year the group made their first long play which presentation took place the 27 of February in Gogol.
